This position is expected to teach 15 credit hours per academic year and may include some responsibilities in the undergraduate or graduate programs; advise students; develop a successful line of research and scholarly record; conduct online teaching; and seek external funding that strengthens/broadens current areas of research. Faculty also participate in both internal and external professional service activities and demonstrate collaborative interests and collegiality in all aspects of faculty engagement. • PhD in Nursing or a related area, conferred by the time of hire is required. One graduate degree (MSN or PhD in nursing) in nursing from a nationally accredited institution is required.
• Active unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Colorado, or ability to obtain by date of hire is required.
• A minimum of two years professional nursing clinical experience is required.
• Evidence of a program of research/scholarship is required.
• Academic experience in undergraduate or graduate nursing education is preferred.
• Previous experience with conducting online teaching is preferred.
