San Benito County is tucked between the San Francisco Bay Area and Monterey Bay. It provides extensive legally-mandated services and develops and implements numerous non-mandated resources and programs to support the schools and districts in its jurisdiction. Job Summary
Under the direction of a certificated special education teacher or specialist. Provides tutoring and support services to student in special education classroom setting. Monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; perform instructional duties in support of the instructional program as required according to the established Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Weekly Schedule
M,T,TH, F - 8:50 am - 3:10 pm
W - 9:00 am - 11:00 am

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
IA I: Combination equivalent to graduation from high school (salary range 6.0 - $17.09 - $20.81/hr)
IA II: Posses an AA degree or 60 semester units equivalent to those required for an AA degree or 5 years consecutive years of experience as an IA I with SBCOE earning a recommendation from the program administrator (salary range 6.5 - $17.47-$21.36/hr)
IA III: 90 semester units or 5 consecutive years of experience as an IA II with SBCOE earning the recommendation of the program administrator (salary range 8.0 - $18.84-$22.96/hr)
