WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Practice, support and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Muckleshoot Casino.
- Greet and seats guests.
- Ensure Host / Cashier work areas are kept clean, stocked, and presentable at all times.
- Maintain accurate seating chart and cover tally.
- Inspect menus for cleanliness and crispness and change out when necessary.
- Walk through dining area and jade bar, note, and correct any irregularities (lights burned out, furniture repairs, etc.).
- Check dining room and floors for cleanliness and take actions and help bus tables where needed.
- Answer phones with knowledge of the operation of the resort and restaurant and/or direct the guests for further assistance.
- Acknowledge and thank exiting guests, ask them to return, ask about their dining experience and follow through with the manager with any guest issues.
- Reconcile Casino issued bank, following all policies and procedures applicable.
- Reconcile ‘end of shift’ financial transactions.
- Take “to go” orders and prepare and present food items to guests ensuring proper food quality.
- Ensure accurate handling of all payment transactions where applicable.
- Monitor inventory levels and notifies supervisor on replenishment needs.
- Provide excellent guest service by providing a positive guest experience.
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings and supplemental training sessions.
- Ensure updated knowledge of all emergency safety measures.
- Create, facilitate, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Smile and engage Guests and Team Members with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of six (6) months experience as Host/Cashier or related and cash handling experience required.
- Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
- Maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.
- Must have and maintain a Class 12 and/or Class 13 Mast Certification
