Building Automation Service Technician at Brooks Building Solutions

Description

We’re looking for a Building Automation Service Technician to handle service calls and system support. This role is ideal for someone who’s experienced in BAS/HVAC controls and enjoys working directly with customers to solve problems and keep systems running smoothly.

Travel Requirements: Up to 50% (Tallahassee, Florida Panhandle, Savannah, GA)

PayScale: $20.00-$50.00/hour, based on experience. Senior technicians will receive a company vehicle and gas card.
 

Responsibilities:

• Service, troubleshoot, and repair building automation and HVAC control systems
• Test and fine-tune controls, sensors, and networked devices
• Support clients on-site and remotely with system operation and optimization
• Document service work and communicate updates clearly
• Travel to client sites across North Florida and South Georgia (up to 50%)

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience with BAS, HVAC controls, or electrical systems
• Working knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, or similar protocols
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• A friendly, professional approach with customers
