- Position: Clinical Nutrition Manager
- Location: Roseville, MN
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
THE POSITION: This position will manage, plan and coordinate the activities of the Clinical Nutrition department in addition to some limited direct patient care duties.
- Ensures appropriate orientation, in-service training, and competencies for assigned staff.
- Oversees department activities to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician orders, company policies and procedures, and professional standards of medical/nutrition care.
- Performs audits and conducts follows-up with staff as necessary.
- Participates in decision making processes by helping to analyze problems and formulate solutions.
- Assumes designated responsibilities of the Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Nutrition as required.
- Acts as liaison with caregivers, medical/clinical/nursing staff on appropriate home medical equipment/supply choices and coordinates Clinical Nutrition services with other company services.
- Provides direct patient care as outlined in Registered Dietitian job description.
- Manages Clinical Nutrition department by issuing written and oral instructions, conducting reviews, and providing performance feedback.
- Seeks ways to improve and promote quality by participating in departmental and corporate quality improvement activities.
- Ensures company compliance with applicable accreditation, licensing and quality control standards.
- Assigns schedules and manages PTO requests of the Nutrition staff.
- Designs workflows and procedures and prioritizes and plans work activities. ?This includes assisting with any M-Files updates.
- Consults with Director of Pharmacy and Clinical Nutrition regularly on challenges and interpretations of company policies to ensure patient and referral needs are met.
- Collects and researches data relevant to services. ?Develops and delivers presentations/case studies associated with seminars, care conferences, or sales support.
- Oversees the Nutrition student/intern program.
- Attends departmental, corporate staff meetings, and leadership meetings.
- Manages new product integration and management of enteral/parenteral nutrition product portfolio.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units/assigned staff.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fifth year college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

SALARY RANGE:
At PHS, we are committed to providing specialized care for medically complex children. Every role, from direct patient care to customer support, plays a vital part in improving the lives of kids and families. The impact you make is invaluable. We are dedicated to offering fair and transparent compensation to our team members. The range for this role is $77,151.89 to $86,793.28 yearly, based on experience and qualifications.
