MAJOR JOB DUTIES:
As a key member of Weber Metals, additional responsibilities also include but are not limited to:
· Demonstrating importance of the Weber Metals Safety Policy to the success of Weber Metals.
· Demonstrating importance of the Weber Metals Quality Policy to the success of Weber Metals.
· Demonstrating knowledge and awareness of the Weber Metals Environmental Policy.
· Demonstrating knowledge and awareness of the Weber Metals Business Management System.
· Working in a team environment to meet target dates.
Core Responsibilities:
· Keep and maintain documents and records of methods
· Participate as an ISO auditor
· Perform inventory control
· Train and instruct Maintenance personnel as needed
· Operate a forklift and/or manipulator.
· Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
Electrical Specialist
· Control Panel Builder completes the control panel build using prints, drawings, and
point to point wire lists.
· Record changes on engineering documentation.
· May work under the guidance of engineering on projects.
· Create documentation related to panel wiring and layout.
· Perform hardware and wire tightness tests to specification with calibrated torque tools.
· Performs wire pull tests as needed.
· Completes point to point, for continuity using a multimeter.
· Maintains records of final units as required prior to shipment.
· Possess an understanding of the facility’s electrical system
· Perform preventative electrical maintenance and repair operations
· Install and repair electrical devices
· Conduct testing of electrical components
· Read and understand electrical diagrams
· Troubleshoot electrical failures
· Understand and use PLC, relay logic and standards, relays and timers
· Assist in new product installation

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must:
· Proficient in reading 2D and 3D engineering blueprints.
· Working knowledge of applicable electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, IEC.
· Must have the ability to work efficiently under general supervision.
· Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards.
· Check work to ensure error-free products.
· Keep red lines of any changes required during manufacturing and turn into supervisor/engineer for document correction.
· Identify any wiring or drawing errors and report back to engineering for correction.
· Ability to read blueprints, technical documents and manuals.
· Analytical skills - Problem solving, failure analysis, (proficient understanding of mechanical mathematics).
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Outstanding organizational skills, attentive to details and highly organized.
· Ability to multi-task and effectively track project deliverables.
· Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
· High level of motivation and problem-solving skills.
· Be able to comply with ITAR and EAR residency requirements
· Be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
· Read, write, and speak English
· Computer Skills (Excel)
· Physical requirements (be able to lift 50 lbs. bend, climb, etc.)
· Familiar with welding, hand and power tools
· Must have own tools
Education/Experience:
· High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
· 5-6 years related mechanical experience
