This position is based at our Loudon Branch (2859 Highway 72 in Loudon, TN). The deadline to apply for this opportunity is November 12, 2025.
Role: The Financial Services Officer - Bilingual assists members and potential members with their Credit Union financial needs with regard to new accounts, loans, and notary services in a prompt, friendly, and efficient manner, both in person and on the phone, following current service model standards . The Financial Services Officer - Bilingual refers members to appropriate credit union personnel for services outside the scope of given responsibility.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assists members with all financial transactions - answer questions about products and services, interview members to open, close, and/or maintain accounts and loans, and perform duties as a notary public. Obtains appropriate documentation/signatures and submit accordingly in a timely manner. Responds to requests from other branches and departments to assist with additional language needs.
- Recognizes and recommends additional products/services that will benefit members’ financial well-being.
- Promotes and actively participates in any branch promotions and credit union campaigns.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Experience: One year or more of customer service and sales experience is required. One month or more of Lending experience preferred. One year or more of financial services experience preferred.
Education: A high school diploma or GED.
Other skills required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required with the ability to effectively interact and make recommendations to all levels of the organization.
- Must possess attention to detail and mathematical ability to perform basic math skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills and reasoning ability required.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft 365.
- Strong customer service orientation is required.
- Must be able to work well with others.
