Position Summary:
The Sr Assoc, Configuration Management position designs and establishes configuration management documentation. Analyzes proposed product design changes to determine the effect on the overall system. Establishes baselines. Authorizes the release of drawings and changes specified by Program or Engineering Management. Provides advice and guidance on methods, procedures and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation. Plans and implements methods to improve response. Acts as liaison between management and other functional groups to resolve issues regarding configuration analysis documentation. Performs audits to verify compliance with contract requirements.

Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures Identifies and addresses changes within own job area. Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.

Works under moderate supervision. Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects or assignments. Sets objectives for own job area to meet the goals of projects and assignments. May provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals and/or support level employees.

Communicates with contacts within and outside of own team which may include customers or vendors. Explains and interprets operational processes, practices and procedures of the job area to others within the organization.

Work consists of making basic adjustments to systems and processes to solve problems. Identifies, defines and addresses general problems that are typically within the immediate job area. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences or standard procedures and basic analysis.

Works to achieve operational targets within job area with some impact on department results. Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant finance experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related finance experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related finance experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience maintaining complex financial models and analyzing large amounts of financial data.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Requires practical knowledge of job area.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Must have the ability to obtain a future Security Clearance could be required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is 65,500-121,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
