Maintenance Supervisor
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with manufacturing experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks as well as overseeing production in their area. Supervising up to 10 employee.

Creating preventive maintenance procedures and checklists

Managing the work order process effectively

Handling emergencies

Creating troubleshooting guidelines

Developing a maintenance strategy to support production operations and the organization.

Scheduling proactive maintenance tasks

Prioritizing work across the team
-
Performing inspections and oversight of maintenance work to ensure quality.

Hiring and training maintenance staff
-
Help coordinate more complex maintenance work.

Forecasting, ordering, and price negotiation of parts and inventory

Hiring and management of subcontractors and other vendors for specialized maintenance work

Ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment
-
Looking for new ways to improve productivity and cut costs.

Support in the development of company policies and standard operating procedures for all
Qualifications
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in a maintenance leadership role
- Experience with Microsoft Suite
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods throughout your shift.
- Ability and willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) specific to each work area.
- Capacity to work in a manufacturing environment that may include:
- Extreme temperatures (both hot and cold)
- Loud noise levels
- Dust and chemical fumes
- Sharp metal objects
- Heavy forklift traffic
Preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- 1-3 Technical training from an accredited institution
