The Opportunity

We are now looking for an experienced Sales Director to join our Fiber Services Sales Team! As a business-savvy sales hunter, you’ll be responsible for growing the business in new accounts across the United States.

 

Work with directors and executives across multiple service providers to expand Amdocs’  fiber deployment footprint with our advanced design, engineering and operations services!

What will your job look like?

  • Engage with targeted accounts and key customer segments, leading the opportunity development process to drive growth in the Fiber and Utilities markets.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with executive sponsors, key decision makers, and influencers across customer organizations.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships to open new business opportunities and expand Amdocs’ reach within telecom and utility sectors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting through negotiation and close — while effectively positioning Amdocs’ fiber deployment and network services.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide leadership across cross-functional project teams to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

All you need is...

  • A bachelor’s Degree/ MA in business/marketing/engineering or related fields is an advantage.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in sales, account management, or business development within telecom and/or utility deployment services.
  • Strong understanding of network build, deployment, operations, and maintenance services, with direct fiber experience preferred.
  • Engineering management or technical program management experience with utilities or telecom companies is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, including executive-level engagement.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and successfully negotiating and closing large, multimillion-dollar deals.
  • Ability to leverage and bring existing client and partner relationships to accelerate market entry and growth.
