Lipscomb University is seeking an experienced and passionate Graduate Enrollment Counselor for our Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Graduate Program. The ideal candidate will have a background in a health-related field and at least three years of experience in admissions or recruitment. This role is pivotal in guiding prospective students towards achieving their career goals and effectively communicating the unique benefits of Lipscomb's CAA program, including its innovative curriculum and distinguished faculty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison for prospective students interested in the CAA program, providing comprehensive guidance and support throughout the admissions process.
- Serve as the primary liaison for prospective students interested in the Healthcare Informatics program, providing comprehensive guidance and support throughout the admissions process.
- Develop and execute strategic recruitment initiatives to attract a diverse and talented applicant pool.
- Conduct engaging informational sessions, webinars, and campus tours to highlight the CAA program's unique offerings and advantages.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a seamless and supportive admissions experience.
- Assist with the evaluation of applications and conduct interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and alignment with program goals.
- Maintain detailed records of prospective student interactions in the CRM and track their progress through the admissions pipeline.
- Participate in outreach activities, including college fairs, conferences, and community events, to promote the CAA program.
- Stay informed about trends and developments in anesthesiology and health education to effectively communicate program relevance and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire prospective students.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with the field of anesthesiology and the role of a certified anesthesiologist assistant is a plus.
