Marketing Intern at Strong Technical Services, Inc.

About the role

The Marketing Intern will support day-to-day marketing operations with a focus on social media management, trade show preparation, email campaigns, and brand engagement. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about marketing strategy in a fast-paced, and creative environment.

Location: Omaha, NE | Start Date: January 2026

Approximately 5-10 hours per week in office, flexible schedule

What you'll do

• Create engaging social media content across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, etc.)
• Monitor engagement and analytics across channels and report performance metrics
• Support trade show planning, including coordinating materials, giveaways, booth logistics, and post-event follow-up
• Draft, design, and send email marketing campaigns and newsletters
• Assist in content creation including graphics, short videos, and written copy for digital campaigns
• Assist with managing marketing projects and timelines
• Help maintain marketing databases, contact lists, and digital asset libraries
• Conduct competitor and market research to identify trends and new opportunities
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment
• Perform general administrative and project-based marketing support as needed
• Willing to take ownership and take on other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
• Ability to work approximately 5-10 hours per week in the Omaha, NE office
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
• Basic design/editing skills (Canva, Photoshop, or similar) are a plus
• Creative mindset with strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work both independently and in a team environment
• Self-starter who can find and resolve issues as they are identified
