We need a Category Lead to accelerate the pipeline in Pattern's priority categories through prescriptive brand targeting and support. This involves identifying the best-fit brands and subcategories, creating a list of priority accounts, and engaging with key stakeholders through relationship-building and strategic events. Additionally, leadership in category trade associations and heading up tradeshow strategies are crucial, including hosting events and coordinating with the sales team to maximize impact in target categories. This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, Utah.

What is a day in the life of a Category Lead?
Focus on category research and brand targeting for business development.
Collaborate with trade organizations and key Pattern partners.
Develop and execute trade show strategies and strategic events.
Gather and analyze category data and insights with a strong cross-functional approach.
Collaborate with the sales team and brand management, focusing on DATA/insights/trends and growth, with an analytical lens
Frequent travel is required, typically 1-2 times a month for a few days each trip.

You will work with the other Category Lead and be supervised and mentored by the President of Advisory and meet with them on a regular basis to discuss your performance. This team is data driven and results oriented. You will collaborate regularly with members of your team to implement actionable solutions. Ideas and input are encouraged from all members.
