About the Role
We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our team in the perimeter security industry. This role is responsible for producing and maintaining financial reporting that will drive strategy. Specific responsibilities include building and maintaining the following in-system dashboards in PowerBI as well as financial reporting in excel. Additionally, this individual will be tasked with performing ad hoc analyses for the executive team and will drive the budgeting process. The Senior FP&A Analyst will partner closely with the executive team, sales leaders, and operations leaders to produce reporting that drives management decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Dashboard Maintenance
- Maintain and improve the company’s existing in-system sales, operations, and accounting PowerBI dashboards
Recurring Financial Reporting
- Produce and maintain accurate and timely financial reporting that helps drive management decisions, including but not limited to the following:
- Operating financial model
- Actual vs. Budget reporting
- P&L trending analyses
- Weekly executive / board-level scorecard
- 13-week cash flow forecast
- Monthly operating review
Budgeting
- Work with executive leadership and key sales & operations business leaders to build annual budget
Strategic Insights
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights that will help drive growth and increased profitability
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred but not required).
- 4-6 years in FP&A (Private Equity backed business preferred), Investment Banking, or Management Consulting
- Demonstrated understanding of Percentage of Completion (PoC) accounting
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Acumatica) and dashboard tools (preferably PowerBI)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- CPA or CFA.
- Background in service and install based businesses.
