After School Program Support Positions
Pine Log ES
HOURS: 2:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help with the distribution of snack.
- Supervise homework and recess.
- Plan, direct, and teach activities.
- Provide written lesson plans weekly to the Site Coordinator if required.
- Communicate with students, teachers, and parents.
- Direct aide and/or student helper.
- Work to maintain a positive, nurturing, stimulating, and warm environment.
- Work cooperatively with the After-School Program Coordinator, Principal, Site Coordinator, and teachers to create a homework/study hall that is an extension of the school's learning goals and objectives.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Organization and multi-tasking
