Responsible for working with TUHS Revenue Cycle, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and IT Departments to develop strategic plans in order to accomplish the fiscal year financial goals. Assists in developing implementation plans for Revenue Cycle/Coding and Billing initiatives, develop proformas, educates providers and departments and monitors ongoing workflow to ensure compliance. Assist Senior Leadership with other Revenue Cycle and Coding related projects as assigned. Provides coverage for Management as needed.

Education
Bachelors Degree (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience
5 years experience in medical practice and physician coding, including demonstrated knowledge of medical billing, ICD-10 coding, and reimbursement practices (Required)

License/Certifications
CCS - Certified Coding Specialist (Required) or CPC - Certified Professional Coder (Required)
