Position: Social Content Strategy ManagerDepartment: Social Media & Advocacy Team / DigitalReports To: Director of Social Media & AdvocacyLocation: Clearwater, FL | Hybrid SUMMARY: The Social Content Strategy Manager will be a key contributor to the Social Media & Advocacy Team, working closely with the Lead of Social Content Strategy, to bring our brand identity to life through captivating social media content. This role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of content strategies, managing the social content shoots and creative briefs, ensuring brand consistency, and collaborating with various teams to deliver engaging and high-performing content. We are looking for a proactive and creative individual with a strong understanding of social media trends and content best practices, who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Content Strategy & Planning:Support the Lead of Social Content Strategy, and Social Platform Strategy Team in developing and executing a comprehensive social media content strategy across all owned social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest).Assist in the development and maintenance of content style guides and social content best practices guides, ensuring consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all social content.Work alongside the Social Platform Strategy Team to manage the social content calendar and pipeline, coordinating content themes, social content briefs, creation of real-time trending content, and collection/trafficking of brand content to ensure a consistent and fresh supply of content.Identify trending topics, cultural moments, and emerging social features to proactively propose, develop, and execute agile content workflows for real-time social engagement, keeping SalonCentric culturally fluent and relevant.Content Execution & Coordination:Manage the end-to-end production cycle of engaging and visually compelling content, including short-form and long-form video, static imagery, animations, and interactive formats tailored for diverse social platforms.Assist in spearheading social content initiatives from concept brainstorming and scripting to coordination and execution of shoots, editing, and post-production, ensuring high quality and adherence to brand standards.Coordinate with external social content agencies on specific projects, ensuring deliverables align with strategic goals and brand guidelines.Maintain an organized library of raw media, approved music, projects, and final masters.Ensure all social content rigorously adheres to established brand guidelines and style guides.Collaboration & Creative Contribution:Collaborate closely with the Lead of Social Content Strategy, social sub-departments, internal cross-functional partners, and SalonCentric brands to translate content briefs and strategic objectives into compelling social narratives and visuals.Actively participate in brainstorming and concepting innovative content ideas that resonate deeply with target audiences and effectively leverage current social media trends.Performance Analysis Support:Assist in meticulously analyzing performance metrics, specifically Engagement, Engagement Rate, and Video Views, for all content buckets across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.Contribute to comprehensive reporting on content performance, gathering data and insights to inform continuous optimization recommendations.Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging social platforms, and content best practices to continually inform content strategy. QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Multimedia Production, Video Production, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a closely related field.3-5+ years of experience in social media content creation, content strategy, or a related role, with a focus on delivering engaging content for brands.Experience working effectively within a creative or production team environment, with a strong understanding of content workflows.Solid understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest), their algorithms, trends, and content best practices.Familiarity with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), project management tools (e.g. Monday.com and Wrike), and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva) is a plus.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple content projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.A creative mindset with a passion for social media and storytelling.Experience assisting with or participating in content shoots.Familiarity with beauty and/or professional beauty industry a plusTravel required as needed. REQUIREMENT:Must submit a creative portfolio for review that includes social media content (organic and paid social) examples.
