Summary
eClerx is seeking a skilled Project Manager with experience collaborating with Technology, Operations, Finance, Testing and external Vendor teams to drive the successful deployment of specific transformation initiatives, as well as standing up our tax operations team from our India Delivery center. This role is embedded within the Tax Operations / Information Reporting group at one of our premier clients, a leading global financial institution.
As Project Manager, you will work cross-functionally with teams including Finance, Tax, Tax Operations, Technology, Product Delivery, and other Operations groups. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing, coordinating and driving project execution, testing and target operating model activities to ensure seamless implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as overseeing our Tax Operations team in RTB activities
Responsibilities
Work with IT, India delivery teams, tax operations and external vendors to build system integrations between disparate systems.
Quickly gain understanding of current state tax ops operating model and identify regulatory risks and operational inefficiencies.
Work with client stakeholders in finance, tax and technology to develop target state tax ops operating model (people, process, technology)
Manage project plans across change initiatives and QA associated deliverables
Manage eClerx Delivery team across the client’s change initiatives with tax operations
Manage eClerx Tax Ops team through BAU processes assigned by the client; includes meeting critical tax filing deadlines
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
Develop and communicate testing approach and present plans to stakeholders
Coordinate with release management team on test cycle schedule and testing readiness
Analyze and create test scenarios/scripts for user acceptance and regression testing based on functional specifications and business requirements
Lead user acceptance testers in test preparation, planning and execution efforts
Assist testers in documentation of test results and ensure the test requirements are met
Identify project risks and defects and develop mitigation plans and workarounds as necessary
Update and maintain inventory of test scripts developed for each project release and regression testing to ensure alignment with the current system functionality
Partner with technology to develop automated tests
Investigate issues, bugs, and feedback as they arise.
Provide regular reporting of testing progress and results and status of deliverables
Oversee defect management
Perform ad hoc testing, as necessary
Eligibility Requirements
10+ years professional experience in financial services with significant project management experience in transformation initiatives
Experience in managing multiple teams in parallel (e.g., CTB and/or RTB initiatives)
Some exposure to finance, tax or accounting at a financial services firm
Previous experience with SIT, UAT and regression testing
Knowledge of testing life cycle
Experience in Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies preferred
Experience in program coordination and administration
Experience of managing projects, or exposure to the end-to-end project lifecycle, or managing substantial parts of the project lifecycle
Experience of working within a structured project management framework
Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
Experience in managing stakeholders and stakeholder communications (written and verbal)

In the US, the target base salary for this role is $150K-$175K Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors
