Preschool Teacher 2025-2026 School Year at Bellflower Unified School District

Job Description: Bellflower Unified School District is seeking a passionate and qualified Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the growth of young children in all domains—cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Early Childhood Education standards. • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. • Observe and assess children’s development and maintain accurate records. • Collaborate with parents, staff, and administrators to support student success. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom. • Attend required professional development, meetings, and training.

Minimum Qualifications: Education: - Minimum of 12 units in Early Childhood Education (AA or higher preferred). Experience: - At least 6 months to 1 year of experience working with preschool-aged children. Certification/Requirements: - Current Child Development Permit (Associate Teacher level or higher) - CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) - Health screening, TB test, and immunizations as required by licensing - DOJ/FBI background clearance
