SUMMARY:

 The Corporate Communications & Public Relations Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic communication initiatives that elevate Lexington Clinic’s brand, reputation, and employee engagement. This role leads internal and external communications, media relations, social media, and content strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values under the guidance of the Director of Marketing. The position requires some travel to other facilities and must have access to appropriate transportation. If the individual will be driving, must have a current, valid driver’s license and insurance as indicated in the Clinic automobile insurance policy.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic communications professional with a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field (master’s degree or APR accreditation a plus). They bring 5–7 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, PR, or media relations—ideally within healthcare or another highly regulated industry. A proven storyteller and trusted advisor, they combine creative thinking with analytical insight to elevate brand reputation and engagement. They have demonstrated success in executive communications, social strategy, and crisis response, and are skilled at translating complex healthcare topics into clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences. Confident and collaborative, they partner effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, leveraging modern communication platforms, media tools, and data to drive connection and impact. 

 PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:

Physical guidelines include the ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day; articulate speech.
