Come join all the excitement at Mystic Lake Casino as a Maintenance and Engineering Coordinator! In this role, you will be the administrative record keeper for all Engineering and Maintenance documentation and will coordinate activities for the departments to include training, team member appreciation events, and department communications.
Job Overview: Coordination of Master Safety Testing documentation to include following up with vendors and supervisors to ensure documentation is provided for essential testing of life safety systems. Responsible for ordering supplies and equipment to assist in department operations. Coordination of Engineering/Maintenance functions. Coordinates department training and team member events. Record keeper for Environmental Protection Agency documentation. Coordinates the License reimbursement program. Gathers and collates reports for Power, Natural Gas and Garbage Disposal. Develops and refines Generator and Refrigeration programs. Develops Standard Operating Procedures for routine Maintenance and Engineering tasks. Record keeper for Safety Metrics documentation. Coordinates and assists in new hire training and orientation. Responsible for the organization and tracking of all Maintenance and Engineering inventory in storerooms. Assists Maintenance and Engineering Planning Specialist with the scheduling of Maintenance and Engineering work. Any other tasks as assigned.
Elevate & Thrive: Key Responsibilities
- Writes department Standard Operating Procedures for routine and non-routine Maintenance
tasks by partnering with technical experts. - Responsible for creating and maintaining metric reports and other documentation to assist in
tracking trends and driving departmental improvement activities. - Documents team member trainings and life safety records and assist with creating and filing
team member records. - Responsible for ordering, receipt, and confirmation of various Maintenance and Engineering
parts/equipment. Performs inspection of received parts and equipment to verify quality and
quantity. - Responsible for ordering, receipt, and confirmation of office supplies and equipment. May
perform inspections of received items. Tracks inventory and completes orders based on
inventory or when requested by a supervisor. - Works with vendors to obtain quotes for parts, equipment, and services and presents quotes
to management team. May write justifications to select a specific vendor. - Maintains and collates documentation for Environmental Protection Agency reporting,
working with IT Department on the development and refinement of the Generator and EPA
Refrigeration program - Assists with the development of the Computerized Maintenance Management System to
include Preventative Maintenance, Non-routine Maintenance, Inventory
tracking. Recommends improvements or process changes to management based on data - Sends out notices for team meetings, training, and events to department.

Job Requirements:
- High School graduate or GED.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products.
- Basic knowledge in Engineering/Maintenance equipment and processes
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System a plus
