Responsibilities:What You’ll Be Doing
May include, but not limited to:
- Carry out tasks assigned by the F&B Manager or Supervisor, and delegate responsibilities to team members as appropriate to ensure efficient service operations.
- Read, interpret, and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Production Sheets to effectively stage, set, and prepare event spaces with the proper catering equipment.
- Supervise the preparation and service of food and beverages, ensuring a friendly, efficient, and professional guest experience.
- Operate and oversee food & beverage stands in compliance with all Health Codes, safety regulations, and policies.
- Support culinary operations by assisting chefs with food preparation, cooking, and catering need.
- Ensure smooth closing procedures, including proper shutdown of operations and securing of the warehouse at the end of each shift.
- Assist with inventory management, requisitions, and cost-control measures to maintain efficiency and reduce waste.
- Oversee requisition processes, ensuring all orders are completed accurately and stored properly.
- Assist with post-event financial responsibilities, including counting banks and reconciling transactions.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of the BEO system, catering operations, and scheduled group events.
- Execute timely and detail-oriented setups for daily and weekly functions.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, adapting to workflow changes and shifting priorities as needed.
- Uphold all Greenleaf Hospitality Group policies and procedures, setting the standard for professionalism and accountability
What You Need for this Position
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service, with the ability to create positive guest experiences and lead by example.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, to support business needs.
- Stamina to remain on your feet and actively engaged for extended periods (8+ hours).
- Positive, professional, and approachable demeanor under all circumstances.
- Physical ability to stoop, bend, and safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety, sanitation, and health code standards, including safe handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Consistent ability to perform and oversee repetitive motion tasks with efficiency and accuracy.
- Commitment to fostering a safe, clean, and welcoming work environment for both guests and team members
