Position Summary

We are looking for a key member of our team responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered clinical support in a primary care setting. This role involves direct patient care, coordination of clinical workflows, and support for medical assistants and nursing staff. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician, including vital signs, injections, immunizations, wound care, and medication administration.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise or provide guidance to medical assistants and support staff to ensure efficient daily operations and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Coordinate patient flow to optimize provider schedules and maintain positive patient experiences.
  • Conduct patient education on disease management, preventive care, and medication compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Ensure clinical areas are well-stocked, organized, and compliant with infection control and safety standards.
  • Support providers during procedures and exams.
  • Participate in staff training, meetings, and performance evaluations as needed.
  • Assist with audits, vaccine management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA).


Requirements

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited LVN program.
  • Licensure: Current California LVN license in good standing.
  • Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience in a primary care, family practice, or outpatient setting preferred.
  • Leadership: Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities; proficient in EHR systems; ability to multitask; commitment to quality care and teamwork.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday (with occasional weekends or extended hours as needed).
