Reports to: CFO Location: Rolling Meadows - Onsite/Hybrid

Summary: 

The Senior FP&A and Pricing Manager is a key contributor to the financial health and commercial success of the Gravis Organization. This role supports both financial planning and performance analysis as well as customer pricing and margin strategy. Reporting to the CFO, the analyst will collaborate across finance, sales, and procurement to deliver insights that drive better decision-making and profitable growth. This role provides strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to expand responsibilities over time, especially as the business evolves and pursues future growth initiatives, including potential M&A. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities: 

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): 

  • Lead the preparation of key components of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term planning models. 
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, cost structures, and strategic initiatives. 
  • Analyze actual vs. forecast performance, highlighting key variances and providing actionable insights to leadership. 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and improve financial accuracy and transparency. 
  • Support monthly close processes, preparing variance analysis and performance reporting for internal stakeholders. 
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and scenario models to support operational and strategic decision-making. 
  • Support financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration efforts. 
  • Assist in the development of reporting tools and dashboards, leveraging platforms like Power BI and NetSuite Analytics. 


Pricing & Margin Analysis: 

  • Work closely with Sales and Procurement to support customer pricing decisions through data-driven analysis. 
  • Maintain and update pricing models and tools, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility across teams. 
  • Analyze large datasets to identify margin enhancement opportunities and areas for pricing optimization. 
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to pricing requests, tracking activity and ensuring consistency. 
  • Support the development and execution of pricing strategies that align with financial and commercial goals. 
  • Monitor pricing effectiveness and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving gross margin performance. 


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 
  • 6+ years of experience in FP&A, pricing analysis, investment banking, or a related financial role. 
  • Program build out experience a plus. 
  • Strong financial modeling and data analysis skills. 
  • Proficient in Excel and experienced with tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and NetSuite (Planning & Budgeting and Analytics Warehouse). 
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, cost structures, and pricing dynamics. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally. 
  • Proven track record of balancing multiple priorities and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. 
  • High attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset. 

**Must be able to commute to the office 3 days a week (Monday - Wednesday)**

**Role is 70% FP&A - 30% Pricing**
