Job Title: General Manager, JOSKO

Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of business sales, operations, human resources, finance, supply chain, and safety. The ideal candidate will be an expert communicator with a strong ability to delegate responsibility and collaborate effectively across a range of departments. The General Manager will lead the business to maximize productivity and efficiency through strategic planning, effective management, and a commitment to excellence.

Objectives:

  • Develop and regularly update a strategic plan for the business to ensure long-term growth and profitability.
  • Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing efficient processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivational work environment, and implementing innovative changes.
  • Adhere to company standards for excellence and quality in all operations.
  • Seek out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships and exploring potential markets.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to team members to strengthen specific knowledge and skill areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals, and ensure their completion, aligning with overall company objectives.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing employees to achieve objectives for sales, profitability, and market share.
  • Maintain project timelines to ensure tasks are accomplished effectively and within established deadlines.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain budgetary and resource allocation plans to optimize financial performance.
  • Delegate responsibilities to the best-qualified employees and enforce all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values.
  • Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of all involved parties.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven success in a managerial role with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Strong decision-making ability, with the capacity to make timely and effective decisions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and delegation skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
  • Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans, with a strong understanding of financial management principles.
  • Ability to motivate and lead employees, holding them accountable for performance and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures, with the ability to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
  • Working knowledge of human-resources processes, including recruitment, employee relations, and compensation.

Travel:

Occasional travel is required for this position.
