Summary:
The Supplier Relationship Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of preferred supplier relationships between AAA, Inc., preferred suppliers, and clubs. This includes enforcing agreements and developing exclusive member offers. The role provides industry expertise, negotiates complaint resolution, and serves as the primary resource for travel service-related information for executive leadership, public relations, and club travel executives. The position also ensures the accuracy of promotional materials, supports club sales initiatives, and facilitates emergency communications and annual travel events.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and execute preferred supplier agreements in collaboration with AAA Legal, from initial proposal to finalization.
- Act as a liaison between clubs and suppliers to resolve complaints and issues.
- Provide travel product information (e.g., cruise, hotel, tours) to internal teams for Trip Canvas, SEO, online booking engine, and social media.
- Share co-leadership responsibilities with the Tour Product Manager of the AAA Product Advisory Group for preferred supplier program projects.
- Evaluate industry competition to provide clubs with competitive insights for selling AAA's exclusive travel programs.
- Manage results of bi-annual Club Surveys, communicate findings to suppliers, and develop performance plans for underperforming suppliers.
- Oversee the accuracy of all printed and digital reference and promotional materials related to preferred suppliers.
- Serve as a primary resource for travel service-related information for executive leadership, public relations, and club travel executives; respond to media requests.
- Maintain travel service-related content on Atlas and distribute emergency updates to clubs and front-line agents.
- Attend the annual Travel Conference and assist with event facilitation, including stage presentations, operational flow, and networking.
- Manage the annual department budget.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, hospitality management, or a related field.
- Five or more years of travel industry experience in a travel service-related role (e.g., cruise, hotel, tour), including supplier relationship management and contract negotiation.
Hiring Range: $78,040 - $98,330
This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
