Speech-Language Pathologist

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. Staff Speech and Language Pathologists are responsible for direct patient care, evaluating, and treating a variety of individuals based upon setting. The successful candidate will exhibit strong: customer service skills, clinical skills, and patient outcomes. They must practice with high moral and professional standards and be driven toward continuous professional development. Effective time management and teamwork skills are an essential quality that will allow success in contributing to the operation of the Health System. What You'll Do- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
- Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Participate in care coordination with healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers to promote optimal wellness and function.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation while meeting productivity expectations.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department and health system.
- You’re passionate about patient care, eager to grow professionally, and value teamwork. You have excellent communication and time management skills and a desire to make a meaningful difference in your patients’ lives.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency with computers and basic word processing tools.
- 1–2 years of experience providing direct patient care in a healthcare setting.
- Clinical internship or experience in patient-facing roles during graduate training.
- Familiarity with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) and/or VitalStim certification.
- Strong understanding of the ASHA Code of Ethics and relevant state practice laws.
