Key responsibilities

• Transportation: Safely transport passengers, goods, or equipment to various locations in a timely manner.
• Route planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes, using navigation systems and knowledge of the area, while accounting for traffic and road conditions.
• Vehicle maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, perform basic maintenance like checking fluid levels and tire pressure, and arrange for repairs when necessary.
• Safety and compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, operate the vehicle defensively, and ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate logs of mileage, deliveries, fuel consumption, and any vehicle issues or incidents.
• Loading and unloading: Safely load and unload cargo or assist passengers when required.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with passengers, dispatchers, and management regarding route updates, delays, or issues.
• Vehicle upkeep: Keep the vehicle clean and presentable, both inside and out.
