SALARY RANGE : $53,000 - $67,000 per year
SHIFT: Flexible – 24/7 and subject to call-in at anytime

JOB SUMMARY
Perform a variety of tasks to assure compliance with provisions of the Tribal Gaming Ordinance Tribal Gaming Regulations, MICS Standards, State Compact, Casino Policies and procedures. Observe and report that Casino activities, gaming equipment, transactions, and report requirements comply with Tribal, Federal, and State gaming laws and regulations, and internal controls. This position requires observation and report only of Casino correction actions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Keep the Compliance Manager and Executive Director informed of all activities and developments within the Compliance Department.
- Ensure all departments maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and guests.
- Complete end-of-shift reports for managerial review and approval.
- Travel as needed to attend seminars, training sessions, and professional development events.
- Maintain controlled access to sensitive areas of gaming devices.
- Test gaming devices and storage media to verify authorized programming and operational integrity.
- Monitor the shipping, receiving, installation, relocation, removal, and storage of gaming devices for compliance with applicable laws and regulations; ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Inspect gaming equipment and supplies to verify integrity and compliance with standards.
- Conduct random audits of gaming transaction documents to ensure regulatory and internal control compliance.
- Monitor table games and drop procedures for adherence to established protocols.
- Observe non-gaming departments and personnel activities for compliance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports and conduct follow-up investigations on observed or reported violations.
- Collaborate with Surveillance and casino personnel as directed by the Executive Director.
- Interact with external regulatory or law enforcement agencies when authorized and necessary.
- Inspect and monitor facility compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Observe and report only; Compliance Officers are not authorized to take corrective action with casino employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or Commissioner.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Education: High School diploma or GED is required. An associates degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience investigative or auditing experience with law enforcement or a regulatory agency is preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree or greater may substitute for experience.
- Equivalent combination of experience, training, or education may substitute for college education.
- Two (2) years of casino security experience is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel regionally as needed
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

In accordance with applicable Tribal law and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians (PRCI) Administration provides employment preference to enrolled PRCI Tribal Members. To qualify, applicants must submit valid proof of enrollment. Tribal Members who meet the minimum qualifications will be given preference in hiring, promotion, transfer, and layoff decisions. During the interview process, PRCI Tribal Members will receive an additional 7.5 points (10% of the 75-point interview rubric). Non-PRCI Native American candidates will receive an additional 5 points (6.7% of the total points) in accordance with Indian Preference guidelines.
