Position Summary...

You will shape the long-term growth strategy of this new business, working across product, technology, operations, and enterprise functions to define where we play, how we win, and how we grow sustainably.
You will act as a thought partner to senior leadership—driving clarity, insights, and alignment around strategic priorities while incubating new opportunities for Walmart Business.
What you'll do...
- Define and evolve the long-term strategy and goals for Walmart Business, including vision, strategic priorities, and annual planning (LRP and AOP)
- Identify and size new growth opportunities, including new services, partnerships, business models.
- Lead strategy, design and execution for Business Services and Monetization (ads, data, more)
- Drive strategy and execution for key customer experiences, including wallet strategy, tax-exempt purchasing and more
- Drive competitor and market intelligence; and customer segmentation translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Partner across functions to design, incubate, and pilot new strategic initiatives, moving from concept to early execution and handoff to operating teams.
- Develop executive-level communications and narratives that articulate progress, priorities, and performance for internal and external audiences.
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to Walmart Business leadership and enterprise strategy teams—ensuring alignment with Walmart U.S. and Corporate priorities.
- Drive cross-functional stakeholder engagement and alignment, ensuring clarity and commitment to strategic priorities across Business, Product, Tech, and Enterprise teams.
- Establish frameworks to measure business impact, ensuring that growth bets are prioritized and resourced effectively.
- Translating data, insights, and ambiguity into clear strategic choices.
- Helping the business focus on what matters most through structured problem solving and crisp storytelling.
- Accelerating innovation by testing and scaling new business models and capabilities.
- Influencing leaders and teams to align behind a shared direction and plan.
- Bringing a “build-within-scale” mindset, combining the creativity of a startup with the rigor of Walmart’s operational excellence.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field, and 8+ years of experience
- Experience in strategy, management consulting or corporate development.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, growth strategy, or new business incubation.
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in retail, eCommerce, or B2B business environments; with management consulting experience
- Proven ability to influence senior executives through data and storytelling.
- Comfort with both analytical rigor and creative problem solving in ambiguous settings.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
