VIM Maintenance Technician (Auburn, AL, US, 36832) at Aptar

A Visual Inspection Machine Technician is responsible for repairing, setup, and overall operation of the Visual Inspection Machines (VIM).  This includes cameras, conveyors, sensors, etc. to enhance accuracy in detecting imperfections in product quality. Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and knowledge of procedures are essential for success in this role.

Duties / Responsibilities:
•    Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with visual inspection machines.
•    Set up, adjust, and operate visual inspection machines, such as cameras, conveyors, hoppers, sensors, etc.
•    Perform routine product changeovers for our different product lines.

Skills / Requirements / Qualifications
•    Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skill set required.  Must possess electrical/mechanical troubleshooting knowledge.
•    Basic Computer and Documentation Skills: Ability to record inspection results, generate reports, and input data into software or databases.
•    Education: A high school diploma or GED is required, with additional vocational training in the electrical field preferred.
