Work Schedule:
Days: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday
Hours: 10:30am-6:30pm

JOB SUMMARY:
The Food and Nutrition Services Cook will prepare, cook, season, and serve adequate, attractive, nutritious, and balanced meals. Meals prepared include meat, fish, fowl, vegetables, fruit, soups, salads, desserts, breads, and pastries, as specified and scheduled by the menus. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
Assisting with Other Kitchen Tasks:
- Emptying trash cans.
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and surfaces.
- Assisting with food preparation and other tasks as requested.
- Restocking supplies in the kitchen.
- Sweeping and mopping floors in the kitchen area.
- Gathering soiled linens from tables.
Following Safety and Sanitation Procedures:
- Adhering to food health and safety regulations.
- Following sanitation and cleaning procedures diligently.
- Ensuring dishwashers are functioning properly and reporting any issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior Cook experience is preferred

Education:
- A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher is preferred.

- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
