The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Regional Sales Director to join our team! You’ll build relationships directly with buyers and intermediaries to promote and sell MassMutual’s products, while also working with internal partners to coordinate client support.

The Team

The Worksite Insurance business is growing as we aim to reach middle class workers in support of the company’s vision to provide financial well-being to all Americans. Worksite has achieved success in recent years distributing our Group Voluntary and Executive products through our multi-channel distribution relationships. To further this success, we must continue to evolve our strategy to reach more advisors and customers, which means growing our sales team in key locations, while providing them an enhanced self-service, digital experience to allow us to aggressively grow top line sales.

The Impact:

As a Regional Sales Director, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with companies and 3rd party organizations in a defined territory

  • Promote and sell MassMutual products

  • Coordinate sales support efforts with Internal Wholesaling Team

  • Provide sales and product training meetings for assigned 3rd party organizations

  • Conduct enrollment meetings and seminars 

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of external wholesaling experience

  • 3+ years of wholesaling experience

  • Ability to travel up to 80% to client sites within territory

  • Reside within the territory CA

The Ideal Qualifications

  • Wholesale experience with voluntary or employee benefit producers  

  • Demonstrated success working in a fully remote environment

  • Experience working and partnering with a general agency system

  • Experience using Salesforce

Salary Range: $80K-$100K base range plus sales-based incentive opportunity resulting in a total target compensation package of $250K-$350K
