Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Traveling Journeyman Ironworker to join our team. This role involves nationwide travel to support projects in structural steel erection, welding, rigging, and fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Safely erect, connect, and install structural steel and metal components
- Perform welding, cutting, and rigging tasks as required
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Work at heights while following strict safety standards
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects on time
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an ironworker
- Strong knowledge of structural steel and rigging practices
- Ability to travel frequently and work extended schedules
- OSHA training and certifications preferred
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and operating hand/power tools.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexibility to travel as required for projects.
