Our Program is seeking innovative engineers to support a critical application centered in the Analytic mission as well as modernize the legacy system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies.
The Work:
The System Automation Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of 12 engineers to implement the program’s test strategy to include design and develop test scenarios, test cases, automated and manual tests to ensure end to end capabilities are fully tested prior to being promoted to the production system as part of the regular CI/CD development cycle. The SA Team lead must collaborate across team as needed.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with 15 years or more of professional experience; or 13 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
- An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph.

- Participate in configuration design and revisions to complex software programs, broker exchanges between affected groups and individuals throughout the life cycle of the system.
- Document and define system test scenarios and test cases for all system requirement.
- Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocated requirements that describe in detail the functions that a system component must fulfill, and ensure these requirements are complete, correct, unique, unambiguous, realizable, and verifiable.
- Design and generate C4 software architecture modeling diagrams for software solutions.
- Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of specific components of complex software systems.
- Review and/or approve system engineering documentation to ensure that processes and specifications meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, and complete.
- Document and define system test scenarios and test cases for all system requirement.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $145,200 - $255,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
