Prairie Spirit School Division invites applications for Principal positions commencing with the opening of the 2026-27 school year. Successful candidates who are offered a position will be informed of the specific school before being asked to accept the offer.
Prairie Spirit School Division is the largest rural school division in Saskatchewan, with over 11,500 students and 45 schools located in 27 communities surrounding the city of Saskatoon, including three First Nations and nine Hutterian communities. Prairie Spirit has a dedicated team of professional and support staff serving pre-K to grade 12 students.
We are seeking outstanding educators dedicated to learning, teamwork, excellence, and innovation to provide leadership for our schools. In addition, we are interested in individuals who will work closely with, and form an integral part of, a strong Division team providing shared, critical leadership towards the Division’s vision of “Learners for Life.”
Qualified applicants must:
Have several years of successful teaching experience improving learning.
Have completed or show commitment to completing post-graduate study in Education.
Have demonstrated leadership at the classroom, school, division and/or provincial level.

Continuously improve student achievement and well-being through a culture of caring and learning.
Show evidence of a shared, reflective leadership style.
