We are looking for a career oriented Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at The Gates of Rochester in Rochester, MN. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for getting apartments ready in between residents, on-site maintenance calls, and preventative maintenance.

- $28- $30/HR

- Supervise Maintenance Team of 7
- Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
- Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
- Working hand in hand with the Property Manager on a monthly budget review
- Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
- Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
- Snow removal (when applicable)
- Pool maintenance (where applicable)
- Assist in capital projects including but not limited to rehab and/or major repairs
- Assist in managing 3rd party vendors including gathering 3 bids for projects What
- 4+ years’ experience in maintenance, including 2+ years in multi-family housing
- 2+ years' HVAC experience and EPA Certification preferred
- Certified Pool Operator preferred.
- Experience managing/supervising 2+ employees
- Drywalling including painting and carpentry
- Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
- Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
- Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
- Water heater knowledge both electric and gas
