Job Description
In this role you will support the Production Integrated Product Team (IPT) as a process engineer assigned to a support process capability development and optimization for a specific product line as it goes through spiral development maturating into high rate production. The selected candidate will integrate factory process data of each spiral as it is produced to plan, develop and implement optimizations and efficiencies, and investigate efficiency losses/issue corrective actions to establish a stable, repetitive, and high-rate production line.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the following: machining practices, reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and specifications; knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:
• Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for chemical processing systems, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and enhance process designs for manufacturability, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop and implement production plans, inspect and assess process deviations, and optimize production workflows to meet program deliverables and quality standards.
• Communicate with production personnel to implement process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and identify opportunities for efficiency gains.
• Design and develop process equipment, analyze process performance, and support Quality Assurance in root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related defects.
• Support the development and production of chemical products, including process validation, scale-up, and technology transfer.
• Travel may be required to support production schedules, training, or equipment installation.
• Weekend or off-hour support may be required to support production schedules or respond to process emergencies.

• Demonstrated understanding of chemical processing principles, unit operations, and safety protocols.
• Demonstrated experience generating manufacturing work instructions, process procedures, and production processes for chemical processing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret process control logic, PIDs, and equipment manuals.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Active knowledge of relevant regulations, such as OSHA, EPA, and FDA guidelines, is desired.
