We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Respite Provider to provide supportive care for an adult client. The ideal candidate will help promote the client’s independence while maintaining a safe, structured, and positive environment during the primary caregiver’s absence. Pay: $18.42/hour Schedule: Every Monday, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.Responsibilities• Provide respite care in the client’s home.• Ensure the client’s safety and well-being at all times.• Assist with basic money management (e.g., supporting budgeting and planning).• Support the client in preparing simple meals and snacks.• Offer timely medication reminders (no medication administration required).• Provide transportation to and from community locations (e.g., errands, appointments, outings).• Give verbal reminders to maintain a clean and organized environment.• Engage with the client in respectful, meaningful ways to encourage social connection and independence.Qualifications• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.• Auto insurance required.• Must pass a background check.• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.• Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with the family and care team.If you are a caring professional who values building supportive relationships and promoting independence, we’d love to hear from you.
