Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic therapy team in Okemos, MI. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping residents regain independence and improve their quality of life in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat residents to restore or enhance their functional abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans to achieve resident goals
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and home programs
Requirements:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Michigan
- Skilled nursing facility or geriatric experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
