Environmental Data Analyst at Multiplier

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with EDGI, EEW, and the Climate Data Project team to translate climate data and research into accessible reporting
- Perform environmental and social data analysis
- Develop UI / UX designs for user-friendly data visualizations or tools
- Implement visualizations / tools for EDGI website
- Co-lead educational webinars/workshops to engage diverse communities of practice
- Co-author scientific reports and blogs related to climate data
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others
- Experience volunteering with EDGI
- Quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
About EDGI
- Investigate and analyze the inner workings of federal environmental policy through agency staff interviews, as well as data and documentary collection and analysis;
- Monitor and analyze changes to web-based information about the climate and environment provided by the federal government;
- Develop new ways of making federal environmental data more accessible to the public;
- Imagine, conceptualize, and move toward environmental data justice;
- Advocate for improved federal data and information governance policies and practices;
- Prototype new organizational structures and practices for distributed, collective, effective work rooted in justice.
