• Performs skilled tasks such as repairing and maintaining steam lines, chilled water lines, and sewer lines.
• Installs new equipment such as sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, etc.
• Examines drainage systems for obstructions and necessary repairs.
• Reviews work orders, orders materials for completion of jobs, and monitors inventory.
• Responds to emergencies during evening, nighttime, and weekend hours.
• Assists in moving and rearranging furniture and other equipment.
• Assists with event set-ups and office relocations by moving and assembling furniture and transferring materials.
• Assists in various ground maintenance projects such as removing snow from sidewalks, parking lots, steps, entrances and exits.
• Operates a variety of electrical and maintenance hand tools and equipment.
• Assists with other general facilities operations duties as needed.
