Pay Range $32 - $36/hr. (based on experience)

Schedule:

1st shift 7am-5:30pm

2nd shift: 7:30pm-5:30am

Maintenance Tech Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our production equipment and facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting electrical systems, along with mechanical aptitude and a proactive approach to maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits and PLC systems

· Diagnose and repair mechanical failures with an intermediate level of skill

· Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic and mechanical schematics

· Perform and document preventive maintenance and tasks to minimize downtime

· Support continuous improvement initiatives in equipment reliability and facility upkeep

· Fixing machinery, plumbing and heating as needed.

· Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.

· Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with a team of security professional.

· Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders.

· Creating reports on maintenance, repairs and safety for the leadership team.

· Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions.

· Collaborating on budgeting for facilities needs with the leadership team.

· Keeping buildings running smoothly by repairing wiring, replacing light bulbs and installing new equipment.

· Solve mechanical and electrical problems in the building systems.

Qualifications:

· Education: Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (preferred)

· Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems and mechanical components

· Working knowledge of PLC logic and controls (Siemens preferred)

· Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals

· Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to equipment reliability

· Team-Oriented with strong communication skills
