SUMMARY

• Under general supervision, performs work in the construction, repair and maintenance of structures and related physical facilities.

DUTIES:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings.
• Design, build, remodel, retrofit, maintain and repair various types of facilities and structures.
• Must have own hand tools for use.
• Form sidewalks, pads, grade beams, and other ground level structures
• Safely strip wall form systems
• Safely build wall form and deck form systems
• Uses levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure.
• Prepares the layout of the project.
• Es􀆟mates height, width, length, and other proportions and selects and purchases materials.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-4 years of experience working as a carpenter in an industrial rough and finished carpentry
• Attention to detail with demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness.
• Be able to build concrete forms.
• Ability to perform strenuous tasks with your hands.
• Ability to measure accurately and read specifications.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team.
• Must have transportation to and from work site.
• Must have basic hand tools.
• Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Must follow all company and site rules and regulations.
• Must have required tools.
• Must pass in house test.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Employees will be required to be able to endure long periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and/or lifting.
• May be required to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs.
• Will work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off platforms/scaffolding.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
