DÉCOR ASSOCIATE OPPORTUNITY FOR ELKAY INTERIOR SYSTEMS,

OPPORTUNITY SNAPSHOT:

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Décor Associate 3 will have met the requirements of Décor Associate 1 & 2. Will work on custom projects, new portfolio projects, new customer projects. Working on projects independently.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

• Manufacture the more detailed, complex and challenging projects in the department.
• Corian fabrication.
• Laminating complex projects and shapes.
• Mentor and train level 1& level 2 employees.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Woodworking experience required.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work well with others., 
• Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks without supervision while trouble shooting and resolving product related issues, necessary tasks or machine/equipment issues.

• Demonstrate ability to engineer projects.
• Inspect product quality during and after the production of the product produced by others.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of all departmental fabrication techniques.
• Ability to work with cnc programmer to get changes made to parts.
• Ability to hit proposed efficiency standards.
• Ability to work with new products spec’d out by our customers.

• Mentoring and training associates in level 1 and level 2 positions.
