JOB SUMMARY The Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor plays a key role in overseeing and executing daily breakfast service and the weekly evening social event. This position ensures high-quality service and guest satisfaction while assisting the Sales Director in selling and managing the hotel's single meeting space. The role requires flexibility to accommodate breakfast operations and the evening social, with occasional support for event sales.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, guide, and support breakfast attendants, ensuring high service quality and providing performance feedback.
Oversee the preparation and service of the complimentary breakfast 7 days a week and the Wednesday evening social, including food preparation and service execution.
Assist with the setup and management of the hotel’s single meeting space, ensuring readiness for scheduled events.
Support the Sales Director in selling and coordinating meeting space usage.
Train breakfast attendants and event staff in technical skills and service protocols, including food handling and guest interaction.
Ensure employees understand and align with departmental goals and expectations.
Offer constructive feedback to staff to enhance service performance and exceed guest expectations.
Maintain organization and inventory of food and beverage supplies, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, security, and inventory rotation.
Ensure employees have the necessary resources to perform their jobs efficiently, such as supplies and equipment.
Uphold guest satisfaction by maintaining high standards in food, beverage, hospitality, and service.
Engage with guests to ensure superior service throughout breakfast and social event activities.
Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety regulations, Ecosure, and Health Department requirements.
Foster effective communication within the department through logs, emails, and regular meetings with relevant teams.
Collaborate with management to recognize and celebrate team achievements through department recognition programs.
Contribute ideas and implement procedures to enhance department performance and efficiency.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.
Supervisory or management experience preferred.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and early mornings.
Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and positive approach toward guests, coworkers, and management.
SHIFT DETAILS
AM shift availability required, with flexibility for Wednesday evening social event.
Full-time schedule.
