Position's Pay Range: $57,900 to $75,200
Position Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining a proper inventory of parts.
Essential Functions
- Order stock and non stock parts that are needed to repair tractors and trailers
- Keep accurate inventory of parts
- Controls inventory needed for forecasted needs
- Check in part orders, tag, and stock parts
- Send and receive shipments, unload semi deliveries, route office paper work
- Order replacement parts and new install kits
- Purchase, stack, and count tires
- Keep on hand The Federal Highway Association (FHWA) inspection forms, decals, tank test decals, tank test date numbers, and distribute to facilities as needed
- Assist with troubleshooting diagnostic problems
- Sell parts to outside customers
- Order and bill for parts to vendor repair facilities
- Ensure accurate pricing and invoicing of orders
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of class 8 tractors and trailers
- Ability to read and interpret technical data and information
