Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Maintenance to lead our facility operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency of our building and grounds, supporting a high-quality living experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety.
- Implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
- Supervise and mentor maintenance staff; manage scheduling, training, and performance.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and inspections.
- Manage maintenance budgets and inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Respond promptly to resident and staff maintenance requests.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including fire safety, health, and environmental standards
- Resident & Staff Support: Provide responsive service, and hands on support, to resident and staff maintenance requests, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and comfort.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred.
