Job Posting: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (PRN)
Location: Rural Critical Access Hospital
Position Type: PRN (As Needed)
Wage: Starting at $43/hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team on a PRN (as needed) basis. The RN will provide direct patient care, coordinate treatment, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, triage, and nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Respond quickly and effectively to critical and emergency situations.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other staff to deliver safe, patient-centered care.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical records
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire). TNCC required within 1 year of hire.
- Previous emergency or critical care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
