About the Role

Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a field crew responsible for installing stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metals.
Coordinate daily activities with the General Contractor.
Read and interpret blueprints and ensure proper layout and installation.
Organize crews, materials, and tools to ensure efficient workflow.
Verify crew certifications and enforce all site safety regulations.
Complete daily field and vehicle inspection reports.
Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
Serve as the on-site safety representative, ensuring compliance with PPE and site-specific safety plans.
Review and conduct Tool-Box Shop Talks and uphold general safety standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the miscellaneous metals field (preferred).
Previous supervisory or foreman experience strongly preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret safety documentation.
Solid math skills, including ability to work with angles, degrees, and standard measurements.
Working knowledge of AWS D1.1 and welding processes including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
Current welder certifications or ability to pass a weld test.
